Community Coordinator

Cal Aggie Christian Association (CA House) is seeking to hire a full-time (30-40 hours) Community Coordinator (CC). The CC has primary responsibility for managing the Multifaith Living Community (MLC) property, resolving issues raised by MLC residents, coordinating with the Campus Minister to implement the multifaith program, and supervising student intern(s). Additionally, the CC assists in supporting other CA House programs and serves as a CA House representative on the UCD campus and in the community. Reporting to the Campus Minister, the CC must be able both to work independently and collaboratively.

A Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience working with diverse groups, fostering community, and facilitating positive group dynamics also are required. The CC must be able to perform a broad range of duties and have excellent communication skills. Experience with developing and maintaining social media accounts is required. Experience with non-profits, students, and faith groups is desired.  Some experience in managing properties is desirable.

The Community Coordinator must also embrace the mission of CA House.  CA House is an ecumenical, progressive, inclusive Christian campus ministry grounded in five basic values: community, faith, social justice, interfaith understanding, and sustainable living.
