Rev. Kristin Stoneking, Director and Campus Minister
Rev. Kristin Stoneking is an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church and a member of the Cal-Nevada Annual Conference. Before coming to Davis in 1999, Kristin served as Pastor of a United Methodist Church in Lawrence, Kansas, where she became involved in the Kansas University campus ministry, first as a board member, then as the interim Campus Minister while the permanent Campus Minister experienced a six month sabbatical. She also served as a student pastor in Chicago, Illinois, and has completed both a residency and internship in Clinical Pastoral Education in Minneapolis, MN and Chicago, IL, respectively. Kristin is Past President of the National Campus Ministry Association, and serves at the annual conference advisor for the United Methodist Student Movement. Kristin has an M.Div. from Garrett Theological Seminary at Northwestern University and a B.A. in English from Rice University. After graduating from Rice, Kristin worked at Georgetown University in the Center for Immigration Policy and Refugee Assistance.
Meredith Jackson, Community Coordinator
Meredith is a member of the United Church of Christ. She is a 2008 graduate of UC Davis with a degree is Political Science and a minor in Religious Studies. Meredith currently serves on the Conference Council for the Northern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ and counsels and directs camps for youth and young adults in the Conference. She also serves on the STudent Ecumenical Partnership Leadership Team, the joint UCC and Disciples of Christ campus ministry leadership body, and is helping to envision the role of youth and young adult ministries in the church movement. In addition to her church participation, Meredith is an avid traveler, has studied abroad, and spent time in Washington, DC, where she interned for the Center for American Progress for their Faith and Progressive Policy Initiative.
Brett Kersten, Office Administrator
Brett Kersten is originally from Illinois. After completing an undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Northern Illinois University, he pursued graduate studies at John F. Kennedy University in the Bay Area. Brett also works as a computer technology consultant.
