Rev. Kristin Stoneking

Rev. Kristin Stoneking, Director and Campus Minister

Rev. Kristin Stoneking is an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church and a member of the Cal-Nevada Annual Conference. Before coming to Davis in 1999, Kristin served as Pastor of a United Methodist Church in Lawrence, Kansas, where she became involved in the Kansas University campus ministry, first as a board member, then as the interim Campus Minister while the permanent Campus Minister experienced a six month sabbatical. She also served as a student pastor in Chicago, Illinois, and has completed both a residency and internship in Clinical Pastoral Education in Minneapolis, MN and Chicago, IL, respectively. Kristin is Past President of the National Campus Ministry Association, and serves at the annual conference advisor for the United Methodist Student Movement. Kristin has an M.Div. from Garrett Theological Seminary at Northwestern University and a B.A. in English from Rice University. After graduating from Rice, Kristin worked at Georgetown University in the Center for Immigration Policy and Refugee Assistance.




Chelsea Guenther

Chelsea Guenther, Community Coordinator

Chelsea Guenther is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and a native of Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated with honors from Agnes Scott College in May 2010 with a degree in religious studies. Throughout her time at Agnes Scott, Chelsea was actively involved in religious life on campus. She worked in the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and served as student representative on the President's Committee on Faith and Learning. Chelsea was the James S. Kemper Scholar for the class of 2010 and was an Undergraduate Fellow with the Fund for Theological Education. In the summer of 2008, she interned at the Interfaith Youth Core in Chicago, Illinois. During her senior year, she was a member of Interfaith Youth Core's Fellows Alliance, a leadership program for students to build religious pluralism on their campuses and beyond. She founded and served as co-president of Agnes Scott's Interfaith Council, which organized several successful events. The first annual "Festival of Faiths," a weeklong celebration highlighting religious life at Agnes Scott, won an award for excellent student organization program. Additionally, Chelsea worked with allies in the campus administration and President Elizabeth Kiss to further institutional commitment to interfaith engagement on campus.




Brett Kersten

Brett Kersten, Office Administrator

Brett Kersten is originally from Illinois. After completing an undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Northern Illinois University, he pursued graduate studies at John F. Kennedy University in the Bay Area. Brett also works as a computer technology consultant.
